Create the task
- Open the project's Plans area and select the plan page.
- Hover over the marker for the location that needs work.
- On the hover card, click Create Task for Marker.
- The task dialog opens with the task pre-named and linked to that location — finish it off:
- Adjust the Title and add a description.
- Set Status and Priority pills.
- Set the due date and time (required).
- Pick an Assignee and any Tags.
- Save. The task lands on the project's Kanban board, linked to the marker.
Why link tasks to markers
- The crew member opening the task knows exactly where on the plan the work is.
- The marker's hover card keeps its Photos / Documents / Comments counts, so the location's full history stays in one place.
- Plans search can find markers by the content of what's attached to them.
Tips
- Attach photos to the marker first (red pin means no photos yet) so the assignee sees the current condition.
- Tasks created this way behave like any other task — drag them across the Kanban board, filter them, and bulk-edit them.
