How to do the inspection
Use the same order on every roof so nothing gets missed.
1. Start on the ground
Shoot each side of the home, gutters, downspouts and anything already damaged.
2. Walk every slope
Take one wide shot of each slope, then close-ups of anything wrong. Put something in the shot for scale.
3. Check the details
Look closely at flashing, vents, valleys, and anywhere the roof meets a wall.
4. Finish the report
Fill out the findings while you are still on site, not back at the office.
