Photo Viewer & Details Guide
Review high-resolution field imagery, annotate assets, and manage photo metadata.
When selecting an individual image from your project's media, CrewBox Pro opens a dedicated, full-screen photo viewer. This interface allows you to review high-resolution field imagery, navigate sequentially through assets using the arrow overlays, or return to the main gallery by clicking the Back button. The layout is designed to keep the visual evidence front and center while providing powerful administrative tools directly on the right side of the screen.
Key Features & Sidebar Controls
- Photo Details: Located at the top of the sidebar, this section displays critical tracking metadata, identifying exactly who uploaded the image and the precise date it was captured.
- Tags & Notes: Below the action grid, you can open the Tags dropdown to categorize the image for better searchability, or use the Notes field to type out specific on-site observations or context regarding the photo.
- Live Collaboration Feed: The far-right pane features a dedicated chat thread tied exclusively to this photo. Team members can discuss the image, flag issues, and collaborate in real-time with automatic timestamps.
Quick Actions
The Quick Actions grid is the functional core of the photo viewer, allowing you to manipulate the asset or immediately turn visual data into actionable workflow items:
- Annotate: Open editing tools to draw, mark up, or highlight specific areas directly on the image to point out field issues.
- Show: Toggle the display settings or visibility status of the asset within the system.
- Create Task: Instantly generate and link a new task to this photo, automatically attaching the visual context for the assigned crew member.
- Move to Project: Reassign and transfer the image to a different active project pipeline if it was uploaded incorrectly.
- Rotate Left / Rotate Right: Correct the orientation of the image on the fly with quick 90-degree adjustments.
